How true. Over the years, I have sold a variety of artworks that felt undone or abandoned. Many times, I have also painted over “abandoned” paintings laying around my studio. However, this piece has traveled with me from California to Phoenix to DC over the last 10 years and given me the opportunity to continually re-imagine it. Love the folklore and always appreciate it, but not particularly a favorite – even though it always hangs in my house. Perhaps someday it will be finished.
